We've had a nice Christmas break and we're now getting back on it. We have been busy emailing promoters and venues and are in the midst of of booking shows for this year. Hopefully, it's going to be a busy one.
This month we have some meeting with various management companies to decide what they can do for us. We will let you know once things have been finalised.
For now, take it easy.
Make sure you keep coming back to check dates for shows. They will be added as and when theyre finalised.

Had a great gig last night in Eastbourne. Was a real party atmosphere. Everyone had a good time. Next show is London town at the Rhythm Factory just by Whitechapel. Details are on our myspace page.

September 2009 - Part 2
Well, it's all finished. We've finally managed to complete the 'Gravity' EP and it should be available from iTunes within the next few weeks.

Hooray! we have finished having a little break and we're now booking more shows to play to you lovely people! Been practicing and have got some new treats ready for your ears.
More news to follow on the EP. truth be told, we've been lazy getting it sorted and onto itunes but reckon in the month or so it'll be ready.
Can you wait that long? can ya?!
As said before and will be said again, make sure you (and your friends) sign up to the mailing list so we can keep you updated easier. maybe give us their email without them knowing? (ooh how naughty). always puts a smile on our face when you get in contact.

Guys, you are all fucking legends. During July we have so far had the most hits on our website we have ever had. Thankyou so much. It makes it so worth it that people are appreciating our music. Keep it up guys. We want to set up a tour late this year or early next so we need as much support as we can so we can play near you. There's more news to come so stay tuned!

So, we're literally so close to being done with the EP it's so exciting. Been playing the songs a lot live and getting some great feedback. As soon as it's finished, a couple of the tracks will be uploaded to the site for you to have a listen.
We have decided to call the EP Gravity so make sure you keep your eyes peeled as it's coming your way soon!

Wow, it's been way too long since we wrote anything here!
We have been busy busy busy since the last post. We finally got round to recording the new tracks and the mixing process is now officially finished! It feels like i've been mixing this thing 24/7. It sounds fucking awesome even if we do say so ourselves!
So it's gonna have to be mastered but will be up on itunes and various other mp3 sites as soon as we can get it. We will be selling hard copies at shows once we get them all sorted. They will be up on the site to stream asap.

March 2009 - Part 2
Had a practice last night. My ears fucking hurt!
We have practiced 4 new songs to death and they're sounding ace. Can't wait to get them recorded and put out. They're a step on from Abandoned Buildings. Reckon you're gonna like 'em!

So March has been reasonably quiet for us compared to previous months which has been kinda nice.
We've played a couple of shows but also had some time to practice some new material and get that all sorted. We've got about 3-4 new songs in the pipeline and they're so close to being finished.
We managed to secure some studio time mid April so the plan is to get these all recorded and release a new EP that'll also feature live versions of 1 or 2 Abandoned Buildings songs. We'll get it all up on itunes as soon as we can.
That's it for now though but stay tuned. More to follow.

Hey guys, we know it's been way too long since we updated this! So yeah, sorry about that.
It seems we have been real busy so kind of forgot to update the website.
So we've been gigging around loads and the album has been selling and getting nice reviews from people. Thanks so much to everyone who has bought it so far. We're just desperate to get it to as many people as possible so we're still booking as many shows as we can get under our belt as possible. Make sure you check out the shows page for a date near you.
We're going to be heading into the studio pretty soon to record 2-3 new songs. Probably some of the best stuff we have ever done so make sure you keep an eye on itunes as it will be up asap! We'll let you know nearer the time though. So hmmm, i think that could be it for the news so far so until next time we write, we'll see you at the shows!

Hey folks, quick update on the Stand Down front: all three of us have now moved houses to various locations and after much packing, carrying and then unpacking we've got sorted and booked a bunch more gigs (see the 'shows' section) and there's some cracking new songs getting written too.
We've made the album as easily getable (yes it's a word) as possible now, in shops, off itunes, from amazon, through paypal and post ...blah blah blah, and if you just want to enjoy the melodies right now we've put the full thing on here in the media section in high fidelity sound quality! Also a video from the carling academy show. Beautifully shot by the lovely Paul Murphy. Search for Paul Murff on Youtube. Plus we made the site layout a little nicer.

So by the looks of it, it's been a while since the site was last updated. Sorry for that! Things have been very busy in the Stand Down camp so please be patient with us! So the album is all done and finished and is now out to buy and download! We have had some great feedback so far! If you don't have it already then have a look at the top of the page for the main suppliers. You may have also noticed it's been a bit quiet on the gigs recently but we are in the process of booking a tour so we will be playing near you as soon as possible. We can't wait to start playing live shows again!!!! Well, for now take it easy. We'll keep you posted as soon as we get any news. Please help spread the word about us. Your work is much appreciated!

Hey guys, just a quick note to say we've pretty much finished recording our album and it's just in the process of being mixed!!! Very exciting stuff.
It's going to have 10-11 tracks on it, some of which you'll recognise from the shows.

So, just to let you all know we're pretty much ready and waiting to record our mini album. It will be available on itunes, amazon, through us and at shows and also a couple of local record stores but we'll update you all on exactly where you can buy it when it's all done!
Also would like to say a massive thank you to you all for coming to our shows and making us feel welcome in unfamiliar places! We hope to see your faces at the shows to come.
There are also plans on releasing a split single with a quality local band, but thats all we're gonna say about that at the moment! Keep your eyes peeled!

So we finally have a site up and running! Still a few things to add, but theyre being worked on at the moment so they'll be sorted soon enough.
